I’m Becky Gencer — founder, perfectionist, and proud artist behind House of Mira. With over 20 years in the beauty industry and specialising in Permanent Makeup and Aesthetics since 2018, I’ve helped hundreds of women (and men) feel confident in their own skin — from restoring sparse 90s brows to reviving tired complexions with bespoke microneedling, skin boosters, and anti-wrinkle treatments. My work has been recognised nationally, including being featured on ITV This Morning and winning Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year 2025.
My Story – From Beautopia North to House of Mira
My journey started long before House of Mira. Back in 2015, I launched Beautopia North, working from home as a single mum determined to build something special — something that gave women their confidence back and gave my children the life they deserved. It wasn’t always glamorous (think late nights, endless patch tests, and clients squeezed in between school runs!) — and then came lockdown, when the world slowed down but my drive didn’t. I adapted, learned, and found new ways to support my clients safely — further cementing my belief that beauty is about care, confidence, and empowerment. Over the years, that small beauty room grew into a multi-award-winning clinic, recognised nationally for artistry, precision, and genuine care.
House of Mira was born from that growth — a new chapter representing everything I’ve learned, and the quiet confidence that comes from experience, resilience, and passion for what I do.

A full PMU treatment (brows or lip blush) typically takes 2–2.5 hours including consultation, mapping, colour selection, and the procedure. A follow-up top-up after 4–6 weeks ensures perfect pigment and longevity. Most clients return every 1–2 years for a refresh or colour boost,
depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.We prioritise your comfort. Using gentle techniques and numbing cream, most clients feel only mild tingling or pressure. Many clients even relax and drift off to our soothing spa music.
Absolutely. We tailor pigments and techniques for all skin tones, including Black and richly pigmented skin.
Yes. We follow strict hygiene protocols, using new sterile needles and disposables for every client. House of Mira is fully licensed, insured, and our team is highly trained and experienced.
After treatment, you’ll receive a complete aftercare guide and kit. Avoid swimming, heavy sweating, and sun exposure for 7–10 days. Slight flaking or fading is normal — we’ll guide you every step of the way.
